Man attempts suicide after killing sister, niece

Lucknow, Mar 22: A man attempted suicide after murdering his sister and her daughter over a minor dispute in Chakeri area of Kanpur city today.

The incident was reported from Shyam Nagar, where Sunil prodded Anita (24) and nieces Saloni (4) and Pragya (3) with a knife.

Later, he tried to end his life in a similar manner.

While Anita and Saloni died on the spot, pragya was battling for life at hospital.

Bodies had been sent for autopsy.
