Kolhapur experiences rains for the second day

Kolhapur, Mar 22 (UNI) Kolhapur city and its suburbs experienced unseasonal rains for second consecutive day today.

Weather conditions were cloudy since morning and light showers commenced around 1630 hrs and continued for nearly three hours.

Light to moderate rains were also experienced in some parts of the district, including the powerloom town of Ichalkaranji.

The rains over the two days will affect the jaggery production, according to market sources.
