Decapitated body recovered
Basirhat, March 22 (UNI) Police today recovered the decapitated body of a 42-year-old man from a vegetable farm at Bargharia village under Swarupnagar police station in North 24 Parganas.
The victim, Sajjad Ali Sardar, a resident of Hoogli village in Ramchandrapur Panchayat under Baduria police station, reportedly went to visit a Dolyatra fair at Bargharia but did not return home last night.
The body was sent for postmortem, police said, adding that an investigation was started but no one was arrested so far.
