Continuous rain affects normal life in Goa

Panaji, Mar 22 (UNI) Continuous rain affected normal life in Goa today.

However, Holi was celebrated with religious fervour and gaiety.

It gave a respite from sultry weather on the festival day.

Some low lying areas were flooded with no untoward incident reported so far. The rain has affected ''Shigmotsav'', which is to begin today in the temple town of Ponda with a variety of floats and cultural parade.

The Weather office has predicted isolated rains at different places in the state in the next 48 hours.
