1 dead, 27 injured in road accident
Krishnagar, Mar 22 (UNI) A person was killed and 27 others, including 10 women and a child, were injured today when a private bus met with an accident on the Krishnagar-Hanskhali route in this district.
Police said the accident occurred when the driver lost control over the vehicle while trying to overtake another bus and it collided with a tree on the roadside.
One person was killed on the spot while the injured were rushed to the Shaktinagar Hospital where the condition of four of them was stated to be critical, police added.
