Two boys killed in grenade blast in JK

Jammu, Mar 21: Two minor boys were killed in a grenade explosion at Gawari village in Gandoh area of north-east Doda district in Jammu and Kashmir, police sources today.

The boys, identified as Mohammad Afzal, 14, son of Abdul Karim and Akram Ashraf, 5, son of Mohammad Ashraf, were killed in the grenade blast near their house last afternoon, sources said.

''The boys, who were playing near their house, noticed a grenade lying there. They started fiddling with the grenade after which it exploded,'' sources said.

Four Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants were gunned down by security forces in the same area the previous day.
