National Awards for APGENCO, APTRANSCO
New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Power Minister Sushilkumar Shinde presented National Awards to APGENCO and APTRANSCO for meritorious performance during 2006-07.
The two companies have recorded a hat-trick by winning this year.
In addition, APTRANSCO also won a gold shield in the category of 220 kv and 400 kv transmission system.
NTPC Simhadri STPS (1000 MW), situated in Vishakhapatnam, also won a gold shield in the Thermal Power Station Performance category.
Vijayawada TPS (1260 MW) and Rayalaseema TPS (420 MW) of APGENCO won a bronze shield in the Thermal Power Station Performance category.
