'Meelad-un-Nabi' celebrated

Puducherry, Mar 21 (UNI) Muslims today celebrated 'Meelad-un-Nabi,' the birth anniversary of the Prophet Mohammed with religious fervour and enthusiasm in Puducherry.

A procession was taken out to mark the occasion.

Puducherry Lt Governor Bhopiner Singh, Chief Minister N Rangasamy, PCC President P Shanmugham and PMK Parliamentary party leader M Ramadass greeted the people on the occasion.
