Birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad celebrated in city
Mumbai, Mar 21 (UNI) The birth anniversary of Prophet Mohammad, popularly known as Id-e-Milad, was today celebrated by members of the Muslim community in the Metropolis.
A procession was taken out by All India Khilafat Committee from Byculla in south Mumbai to the various Muslim dominated areas of the city.
Members of the other committies welcomed the participants in the procession by offering them sweets and flowers.
Similar processions were also taken out in Malegaon, Aurangabad, Nagpur and other parts of the state.
