Ailing Vajpayee to celebrate Holi at his residence
New Delhi, Mar 21 (UNI) Acceding to the wishes of thousands of his admirers and friends, former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee will celebrate Holi at his residence here tomorrow.
BJP All India Secretary Vijay Goel, who was an MoS in the Prime Minister's Office during the NDA regime, said Mr Vajpayee will receive visitors between 1100 hrs and 1300 hrs.
The visitors will be served 'gujias' and 'kachouris' on the occasion.
Mr Vajpayee, who has not been keeping well for quite some time, agreed to the wishes of thousands of his admirers and friends to meet them on the occasion of 'Holi' -- as he used to do in the past -- at his residence, Mr Goel said.
Due to his health problems, Mr Vajpayee had missed the book launch of the party's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani's autobiography on Wednesday, although he deputed his daughter and son-in-law to attend the function.
