9 killed in two separate accidents in AP
Hyderabad, Mar 21 (UNI) Nine people, including four of a family, were killed in two separate accidents in Andhra Pradesh today.
Five labourers were killed on the spot when a Tata Sumo ran over them at Ramachandrapuram village in Kadapa district.
Police said the labourers were digging the roadside to lay cable when the mishap occurred.
The driver was taken into custody.
In another incident, four people of a family, including two children, were killed on the spot when their two-wheeler collided with a lorry near Chollangi bridge in Kakinada district.
Police said the deceased were one Gali Subba Rao, his wife Nagasuryakumari and their ten-year-old son and eight-year-old daughter.
