Telugu actor Sobhan Babu dead
Chennai, Mar 20 (UNI)Well-known Telugu actor Sobhan Babu, who reigned supreme in the Telugu film industry for decades between 1965 and 1979, along with the two stalwarts late N T Rama Rao and A Nageswara Rao, died of cardiac arrest at the Apollo Hospital here today.
The 71-year-old handsome yesteryear hero of 236 films, was rushed to the hospital as he collapsed and started bleeding through his nose while practising yoga, his daily routine in the morning, according to his family sources.
Doctors who attended on him at the hospital declared him dead. He is survived by his wife, one son and three daughters.
Besides Telugu film industry led by thespian Nageswara Rao in Hyderabad, those who condoled the death of their artiste- included singer S P Balasubramaniam, actors Chandra Mohan, Gollapudi Maruti Rao and Y G Mahendra and other colleagues and departments of the film industry.
