Modi would be my possible successor: Advani

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) BJP's Prime Minister-in-waiting L K Advani has said that Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi would be his possible successor.

''I have little doubt very few of others have proved their ability in the matter of governance and development as Narendra Modi has already proved. So he has great potential,'' he told CNN-IBN in an interview.

Defending Mr Modi, the Leader of the Opposition said he does not have a personal ideology of his own.

''The ideology is that of the BJP or the RSS,'' he added.

The former Deputy Prime Minister spoke to CNN-IBN a day after the release of his long-awaited autobiography 'My Country, My Life' here last evening.
