Maoist guerillas gun down three in Bihar
Munger,Mar20(UNI)Around 50 armed guerillas of proscribed CPI(Maoist) today gunned down three villagers and injured the other one at Barhnichak Patan village under Ramnagar police station area in the district late tonight.
District police superintendent Shalin said the armed guerillas attacked the Barhnichak village and opened fire indiscriminately killing three villagers on the spot while one person sustained serious injuries in the incident.
Those killed were identified as Ranjit Bind, Pramod Chaurasia,and Bhushan Chaurasia,he said adding the injured had been admitted to a local hospital.
Additional police personell had been sent to the Patan village to intensify the patrolling.Massive combing operation had also been launched in and around the affected village to nab the guerillas who sneaked from the spot after committing the crime, he added.
