Gulalotsav 2008 at Azad Maidan on March 22

Panaji, Mar 20 (UNI) To ensure a safe ''Holi'', devoid of any clash or accident, Panaji Shigmotsav Samittee has decided to celebrate ''Gulalotsav 2008'' at Azad Maidan, in the heart of the city on March 22.

The Shigmotsav Committee, Vice- President Mangaldas Naik and founder Secretary Sunil Naik speaking to reporters here today said after taking the blessing of Goddess Mahalaxmi in the morning on March 22, the procession of Romta Mell will proceed to Azad Maidan followed by Orchestra at 1100 hours where exchange of colours will take place.

The Panaji Shigmotsav Samittee has appealed to each and every one irrespective of religion, cast, creed and language to join in the celebration of ''Gulalotsav'' keeping away all differences, agony, tension, stress and enmity.

The ''Gulalotsav 2008'', is organised by Panaji Shigmotsav Samiti in Association with Department of Tourism, Government of Goa, Directorae of Art and Culture, Clube Tennis de Gaspar Dias and Big 92.7FM.
