Delhi Police nab two BKI militants from Punjab
New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) The Delhi Police today said they arrested two militants of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and seized some arms and ammunition from them.
Acting on specific information, a team of the Special Cell of the Delhi Police apprehended two BKI militants identified as Jaswant Singh alias Kala (31) and Surender Singh alias Fauji alias Monu (22) from Jallandhar in Punjab yesterday.
One .30 star make pistol and one .22 star make pistol with 11 live cartridges were seized from their possession.
Police said the two were absconding since December last year.
With their arrest, the nefarious designs of BKI to revive militancy in Punjab has been thwarted, they added.
