Cummins India commences operations at Kothrud plant
New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) Cummins India Ltd today said, it has commenced commercial production from its expanded manufacturing facility at Kothrud plant in Pune.
The plant which was inaugurated on March 17, 2008 has commenced its commercial production of mechanical and electronic KV series engines ranging from 750 HP to 2250 HP to meet the demands of power generation, marine, construction, mining and locomotive applications, a comapny statement said.
It will also specialise in assembling, testing and up-fit of high horsepower engines, it added.
