Congress ready to face Karnataka elections

New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) The Congress today said it was ready to face elections to Karnataka state assembly any time.

"We are ready to go to polls in Karnataka anytime,"AICC Spokesman Abishek Manu Singhvi told mediapersons, reacting to reports indicating possibility of elections in the southern state in May.

Replying to a question, he said the Party had never asked for extension of Karnataka poll beyond May, when the six-month-long President's rule would expire.
