291 cattle meant or slaughtering rescued in Delhi
New Delhi, Mar 20 (UNI) The Delhi Police today said they have seized a canter carrying 291 cattle meant for slaughtering and arrested four people in this connection.
The seizure was part of the Delhi police drive against illegal ferrying of cattle and preventing cruelty against the animals.
The canter was being ferried from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, police added.
The four arrested were identified as Akhtar (23), Usman (28), Nasim (30) and Babu (35), all residents of Uttar Pradesh.
