Two fatally knocked down by lorry

Karur, Mar 19 (UNI) Two employees of a private spinning mill were killed when a speeding lorry knocked down their motorcycle at Manalmedu village, near here, last night.

Police said the deceased were identified as R Balakrishan (23) and A Xavier (29). The victims were on their way to have tiffin when the mishap occurred.

While Balakrishnan died on the spot, Xavier succumbed to injuries at the Government Headquarters Hospital at Tiruchirapalli.
