Tight security at railway station for Holi

Lucknow, Mar 19 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Vikram Singh today directed his officials to beef up security in trains and railway stations to avoid any untoward incident during Holi.

The railway police had been instructed to take strict action against anti-social elements and those involved in objectionable behavior, the DGP apprised.

''Holi is celebrated on March 21 to 24 and it is necessary to put a check on the anti-social elements for the peaceful festival,'' Mr Singh maintained.
