TCS leases further 90,000 sq ft at Infocity Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar, Mar 19 (UNI) TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) have taken up 90,000 sq ft under lease agreement in the Tower-3 of Creative Infocity Limited (CIL) Infocity, here, for their IT operations.

Addressing reporters here today, CIL Director Hiten Barot said TCS has already occupied 1,15,000 sq ft area in the Infocity and now they have signed lease agreement to acquire further 90,000 sq ft area spread across the three floors in IT Tower-3, that would be completed by next month.

Talking about the expansion project, Mr Barot said Tower-4, which is under construction, will be ready within next three months. As many as 480 well furnished service houses would be constructed to accommodate employees working in various IT companies at Infocity in which 240 apartments will be ready within one month.

He said, ''while allotting spaces in Infocity, we are not giving preferences to those who want to book their spaces, priorities are being given to those IT companies, who want to start their operations from Infocity immediately.

Many companies after their comparative studies in cost involvements in other cities prefer Infocity, as they are getting good infrastructure, uninterrupted electricity, water, pleasant environment and access to international airport at cost effective rate, he added.
