Sutherland achieves highest maturity level

Chennai, Mar 19 (UNI) Sutherland Global Services, with India offshore operations in Chennai, Kochi and Mumbai, has become the first pure-play BPO worldwide to be assessed at maturity level five of the P-CMM (People Capability Maturity Model).

The P-CMM framework was developed by Carnegie Mellon University to define the organisational maturity of people processes and practices, a company release here today said.

It was the only framework that addresses the needs of employees, their competencies and the processes that need to be in place to ensure that an organisation is improving continuously and able to meet business needs effectively and efficiently and ranks on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the highest achievable maturity level.

Sutherland received high commendation for its workplace innovation including a unique, integrated HR model featuring analytics, resolution tracking and metrics. The P-CMM assessment also recognised Sutherland's innovation in recruitment skill set analysis and web-based applicant tracking system. The company's centre of learning was cited as an excellent example of continuous educational development.
