Suggestions sought to finalize development of Manimajra

Chandigarh, Mar 19 (UNI) The Chandigarh Municipal Corporation today sought suggestions from the general public for development of Manimajra in a planned manner.

For this a master plan has been prepared by the Administration to channelise the development of the town in a planned manner.

The development plan envisages holistic and integrated development of Manimajra Township covering on the spheres including education, health, transport, housings, social infrastructure etc.

To ease the traffic, widening of roads, proposal of new link roads, construction of overbridge on railway crossing is also proposed.

The Municipal Corporation has also sought suggestions from the general public for development and upgradation of five villages- Hallomajra, Khajeri, Palsora, Maloya and Dadumajra which have recently been merged with the Municipal Corporation.

The Corporation has already prepared development plans for these villages.
