Silver. Gold tumble on bullish advice

Mumbai, Mar 19: Both the precious metals declined today with Silver down by Rs 135 per kg and Gold by Rs 225 per ten gm on bearish global advice, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 24,915 (25,050) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,980 (13,205) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 13,035 (13,260).
