No NSA remark on LTTE base in TN: PMO

New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) The Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has denied reports that National Security Adviser M K Narayanan had talked about LTTE setting up a base in Tamil Nadu.

''It is clarified that answering a question relating to LTTE activity in Kerala the NSA only said the police would monitor any such activity,'' the PMO said in a statement.

''No reference was made in this connection to Tamil Nadu nor was there any mention whatsoever that the LTTE had established a base there,'' it said.
