MP Cong announces candidate for Betul LS bypoll

Bhopal, Mar 19 (UNI) The Madhya Pradesh Congress today declared party legislator Sukhdeo Panse as its candidate for Lok Sabha bypoll from Betul constituency.

In a statement issued here, party spokesperson Manak Agrawal said Mr Panse has been selected as Congress candidate after holding discussion with party central committee. Mr Panse would file his nomination paper on March 24.

The bypoll was necessitated by the death of BJP MP Vijay Khandelwal.

Other candidates in the fray include Mr Khandelwal's son Hemanth Khandelwal (BJP) and Dr Sunilam (SP).
