Maharashtra attracted Rs 114,000 cr investment: Patil
Mumbai, Mar 19 (UNI) Maharashtra has attracted Rs 114,000 crore investment in 92 mega projects.
State Finance Minister Jayant Patil, who tabled the state's budget today,told the Legislative Assembly that Rs 844.62 crore has been made available for reimbursement of industrial incentives upto December 2007 while Rs 400 crore has been provided for the next year.
The budget has also made provisions for Rs 1050 crore for the Energy Department out of which Rs 372.42 crore will be spent on the energisation of agricultural pumps.
An additional outlay of Rs 250 crore has been made for energy generation and ''Gaothan Feeder Separation Scheme''.
