Journalist killed in accident
Saharsa, Mar 19 (UNI) A journalist was killed and his driver suffered serious injuries today when his car collided head-on with a truck on NH 31 near Mansi railway station in the district.
Police said Jauhar Abdullah, a Delhi-based journalist, was on the way to his native village in the district to attend his father's funeral when the accident occurred, killing him on the spot and severely injuring his driver.
The injured was rushed to the local Sadar Hospital where his condition was stated to be critical, sources added.
