Four candidates in two RS seats
Ranchi, Mar 19 (UNI) Four candidates are in fray for two Rajya Sabha seats in Jharkhand as no one withdrew their nomination today.
The elections to the Upper House in the state is on March 26.
Among the candidates, is Mr Jaiprakash Narayan Singh fielded by NDA while the others are Mr R K Anand, Mr Parimal Nathwani, the group presidents of Reliance Industries Limited (Corporate Affairs) and Mr Kishore Lal of JMM.
The BJP-led Opposition in the Assembly in the past few days had been coming down hard on the Congress for the party's silence over its support to the UPA candiate as Mr Lal was proposed by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
Interestingly, the UPA allies are yet to show unanimity on their candidate.
