Fifth RRSDI MAHCON in Nashik from Mar 21

Nashik, Mar 19 (UNI) The fifth Maharashtra chapter of Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) annual meeting ''MAHACON 2008'' will be held here from March 21 to 23.

''The conference will be an endeavour to bring across the most relevant and latest information on the management of diabetes through an elite panel of experts during the event,'' Dr Narayan Deogankar, Organising Secretary of the event, told reporters here today.

''Dr Vasant Pawar will inaugurate the conference while Dr Shobha Bachhav, mla and former Health Minister Dr Daulatrao Aher will be the chief guests on the occasion. As many as 300 doctors from various parts of the state and the country have registered their names with us,'' Dr Deogankar added.

Some research papers will also be presented during the conference.
