Feasibility study to be conducted for high-speed Mumbai-Nagpur train
Mumbai, Mar 19 (UNI) Maharashtra Government has proposed to carry out feasibility study for a high-speed train between Mumbai and Nagpur via Marathwada.
Making this announcement in the Legislative Assembly while presenting his 10th budget, Finance Minister Jayant Patil said development of high-speed train service is essential for attracting investment and ensuring faster development of backward areas of the state.
He said a consultant has been selected to carry out the feasibility study.
