Clouds, wind bring respite from heat
New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) Strong surface winds accompanied by clouds this evening brought much needed respite from the scorching heat in the National Capital.
During the day, the maximum temperature was recorde at 35.4 degrees Celsius, four degrees above normal. The minimum temprature was recorded at 19.5 degrees Celsius, also four degrees above normal.
The met office said cloudy weather would prevail tomorrow. The maximum temperature is expected to rise to 36 degrees Celsius and the minimum is likely to be around 19 degrees Celsius.
The maximum temperature yesterday was recorded at 37.5 degrees celsius, six degrees above normal.
