Brig Syed Ali new Commander of Lucknow sub area

Lucknow, Mar 19 (UNI) Brigadier Syed Ahmad Ali, Sena Medal, has taken over the charge of Commander, Lucknow sub area the in Cantonment area here.

Brigadier Ali is an infantryman and has served in various operations, including PAWAN, ORCHID and RAKSHAK.

He was also commissioned into the Kumaon Regiment in 1977.

The officer has had the honour and privilege of commanding an Infantry battalion during the 1999 Kargil War and was also awarded Sena Medal.
