BJP announces candidates for April 12 bypolls

New Delhi, Mar 19 (UNI) The Central Election Committee of the BJP today chose Mr Hemant Khandelwal and Mr Chandrashekhar Pande as the party's candidates for Betul and Khalilabad Lok Sabha constituencies from Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh respectively for the April 12 by-elections.

The meeting, presided over by party President Rajnath Singh and attended by all important members, including Leader of the Opposition L K Advani, also chose Mr Yadunandan Sharma for the Bilgram assembly seat, UP, and Mr Sital Prasad Chakravorty for the Kharba assembly constituency in West Bengal for the polls.
