Attack on scribes: KUWJ demands stringent action
Kozhikode, Mar 19 (UNI) The Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) today urged the Government to take stringent action against the culprits involved in the alleged attack on journalists at Pattimattom in Ernakulam district of Kerala.
Expressing strong resentment over the recent attack on Asianet reporter Ipe Vallikkadan and lensman Feroze Khan, a resolution adopted in the Kozhikode district committee meeting of the Union said police adopted a lackadaisical approach in nabbing the assailants in the case.
Scribes, under the banner of the KUWJ, also took out protest marches in various parts of the State, demanding immediate action against the culprits.
