Ant-eater spotted in Kanchi

Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu, Mar 19 (UNI) The area got a rare visitor, an ant-eater, today, drawing scores of curious onlookers.

The ant eater, which had come from the Ponneri river-bed, was spotted by a grocery shop owner.

As the news spread, people living in nearby areas thronged the place to have a glimpse of it.

On information, forest department officials rushed to the spot and took the ant-eater.
