Three member gang attack shop owner in city

Coimbatore, Mar 18 (UNI) A 36-year-old electrical shop-owner was injured, when a three member gang attempted to murder him by throwing petrol bombs and sickle in the city today.

Police said one Danial (36), was opening his shop when the gang allegedly led by Ganja Murugan, came in an auto and threw petrol bombs and sickle on him. The attack was made due to old enmity.

Danial was admitted to Coimbatore Medical College (CMC) Hospital and said to be out of danger.

Efforts were on to trace Ganja Murugan and his associates, Police added.
