Omar to attend Pugwash conference in Pakistan
Jammu, Mar 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (NC) president Omar Abdullah will attend the forthcoming Pugwash conference to be held in Pakistan in the last week of March, a party spokesman said here today.
''Omar Abdullah had accepted the invitation to attend the conference,'' the spokesman told UNI asserting, ''The NC president had also attended the Pugwash conference in Pakistan two years back as a mainstream politician of Jammu and Kashmir.'' Mr Abdullah during his meeting with President Musharraf two years back at the previous conference in Pakistan, had put forward his viewpoint on the way forward to resolve the Kashmir imbroglio which was appreciated by both India and Pakistan, he said.
