MRPL signs performance contract with ONGC
Mangalore, Mar 18 (UNI) Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd (MRPL) today inked a performance contract 2008-09 with Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) Limited.
A release from MRPL said the contract was signed by ONGC Chairman and Managing Director R S Sharma and MRPL Managing Director R Rajamani at New Delhi today.
Three new parameters-- product dispatch, safety, recycle of treated effluent and energy index had been included in the contract.
In the MoU entered by the ONGC Group with the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas for 2008-09, the weightage of subsidiary management had been enhanced to ten per cent from four per cent earlier.
Of this ten per cent, MRPL's weightage had been enhanced to four per cent from two per cent earlier.
