Meeting held to eradicate use of plastic

Tirupati, Mar 18 (UNI) To eradicate use of plastic at Tirumala hills, the abode of Lord Venkateswara swamy, several environmentalists held a meeting with the TTD officials here today.

During the meeting, TTD Executive Officer K V Ramanachary said it was necessary to make Tirumala hills a plastic free zone, where lakhs of pilgrims across the world would be visiting the temple during the coming summer vacation.
