Bank's assistant branch manager held for forgery

Bhadohi, Mar 18 (UNI) Union Bank of India's assistant manager was arrested today for withdrawing Rs 3 lakh by forging account holder's signature in Kotwali area here.

Rama Shankar, forged signature of Bharat Nath Pandey and withdrew Rs 3 lakh from his account, police said.

Mr Pandey lodged a complaint, following which Rama Shankar was arrested and sent to jail after he was found guilty of the crime.
