45 sacked policemen held
Bareilly, Mar 18 (UNI) At least 45 sacked police personnel were arrested today for blocking National Highway in this district of Uttar Pradesh.
The policemen created ruckus at the district headquarters and blocked the Delhi-Lucknow highway in favour of their demands of taking them back into the job, police said.
Vehicular traffic remained stranded for hours due to the demonstration.
The policemen have been sent to jail.
