Twenty-Five killed in Manali landslide
Manali, Mar 18: A landslide in Nehru Kund, which is about four kilometers from Manali, has claimed 25 lives.
"The injured have been admitted to regional hospital for treatment. The number of victims could be more than 25," district authorities said.
Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), General Reserve Engineering Force (GREF), Mountaineering Institute, police and home guards have been deployed for search and rescue operation.
The landslide is spread over 200 meters and has blocked highway totally.
