Ten Maoists killed in Andhra Pradesh encounter

Khammam, Mar 18: At least ten Naxals, including Dalam Commanders of the CPI (Maoist), were killed in an encounter with the police near Charla mandal in this district of Andhra Pradesh today. Police said the encounter took place when elite Greyhound forces were combing the area. A huge cache of arms, including AK 47 assualt rifles, were recovered from the spot.

The exchange of fire between the police and Naxals was continuing, the police added.
