State Budget to be presented on March 19

Mumbai, Mar 17 (UNI) The annual Budget of Maharashtra State for the financial year 2008-09 will be presented on March 19 by the Minister for Finance and Planning Jayant Patil at the State Legislative Assembly and by the Minister of State for Finance and Planning Dr Sunil Deshmukh at the State Legislative Council.

Text of the Finance Minister's speech on Budget along with the highlights of fiscal document will be available on the website of the Finance Department http://finance.mah.nic.in and also on http://www.maharashtra.gov.in after the Minister concludes his speech in the House, an official release said here today.
