Pak Marine Securitymen arrest 17 fishermen

Porbandar, Mar 17 (UNI) Seventeen fishermen, sailing in three boats, were arrested by Pakistan Marine Security personnel from the Arabian sea off Jakhao Port.

The fishermen were fishing in the Arabian Sea yesterday, when they were taken away by Pak Marine Securitymen, Manish Lodhari, secretary of the state unit of National fish forum, said today.

The fishermen, along with their boats, were taken away to Karachi, Mr Lodhari added.

The state government and Indian Coast Guard had been informed about the incident, Mr Lodhari said.
