Cong-NCP govt has neglected Maharashtra's development: Jawadekar
Mumbai, Mar 17 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party national spokesman Prakash Jawadekar today alleged that Maharashtra was lagging behind in various sectors since the past nine years.
Mr Jawadekar, while speaking to reporters here, said the Congress-NCP government in the state and its leaders have concentrated only on land and such other deals while neglecting the develoment of the state.
Citing an example, Mr Jawadekar said the Mumbai-Nashik four-lane highway was conceptualised way back in 1999 but had not been materialised yet. Similarly had been the case with the Metro Rail and Krishna Valley projects, he alleged.
Mr Jawadekar, incidentally, is all set to make his first entry into the Rajya Sabha.
