253 numbers of Brass Cartridges missing from Ordnance factory: gov
New Delhi, Mar 17 (UNI) The Government today admitted that 253 numbers of Brass Cartridges were reported to be missing from the Ordnance Factory, Khamaria in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh on February 9, 2008.
In a written reply in the Lok Sabha, Defence Minister A K Antony said an FIR was lodged on February 11, 2008 in Khamaria.
He said the contract labourers wore identifiable apparel and stayed at one place during lunch hours under the section's in charge supervision. The contractors were allowed to visit designated officers/offices only and their movements were restricted.
