Centre's economic policy creating gap among people:Bardhan
Hazaribagh, Mar 16 (UNI) Communist Party of India (CPI) General Secretary A B Bardhan today said that existing economic policy was creating economic difference among people.
Talking to reporters here, Mr Bardhan said poor people were the worst sufferer as it was more based on capitalism.
Mr Bardhan was here to participate in party's two-day convention.
Criticising Union government for making anti-labour remarks Mr Bardhan said that recently the Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram announced to abolish the existing labour law which states about working hour of labourers.
''According to the law every labourer was bound to work eight hours a day and Centre was trying to abolish the law which was a step against the right of labourers'', Mr Bardhan said.
Earlier, speaking about the convention party's state secretary Bhuvneshwar Mehta said that all the wings of party had been directed to expand its reach in rural areas.
